BooBoo was born a tiny ball of black fur in July of 2011 and was rescued to join our family at 17 weeks old. She succumbed to cancer at the age of 14 1/2 years old—merely a week after her diagnosis even though she was undergoing other medical treatment. BooBoo was an incredibly smart cat—the smartest of all the cats we've had over a lifetime. She instantly knew if something was amiss in the house and would seek us out to fix whatever it was immediately by leading us to the root of the problem. We never ignored BooBoo when she was on alert. She was our watchful and gentle angel. BooBoo was elegant and graceful and possessed gorgeous green eyes and the softest black fur you ever felt. She loved lots of pets and scritches and special cat treats. We talked and sang to her often and occasionally, she would respond in kind. She was a constant friend and companion who slept beside us every night, frequently checking to make sure all was well. Her sudden passing has left us completely heartbroken but we know how lucky we've been for her to be part of our family and also know she is now reunited with her brother, Charlie, whom she has waited a long time play with again. She is greatly missed. We love you, our sweet baby BooBoo. 🐈⬛ 💔 🐾
