Buddy Stacy

Buddy came to us as a stray. It took him a while to trust us, but one day out of the blue, he rubbed up against my leg and started to purr. That day I fell madly in love with him and so did my husband. He was frail from being outside and not having anyone to take care of him, but we took him under our wing and welcomed him into our family. We knew that he had some health problems because of how skinny he was and everytime we fed him, he would throw up. On October 6th we took him to the Vet, praying as hard as we could that the news would not be bad, but it was even worse than we thought and Buddy went into distress at the doctor and passed away. Our hearts are totally broken but the love that Buddy gave us even for the short time that he was a part of our family will be cherished for the rest of our lives. Buddy sits on our mantle now without pain, watching over us and knowing that he will always be loved and a part of our family.
