Darcy Jones

d. Sep 20, 2026

Darcy Jones was born on April 20, 2022, in South Carolina, and passed away on September 20, 2026, in North Carolina. Although her time here was far too short, she lived a beautiful life filled with love, adventure, and so many special memories.

Darcy was a beautiful, intelligent, and gentle little girl with a personality all her own. She was naturally reserved, cautious, and a little timid, but she was also so smart and becoming so brave. She had big brains, and her mommy made sure she knew it!

Indoors, Darcy was a true pillow princess. She was poised, elegant, and perfectly content observing the room while everyone else mingled. She never needed to be the center of attention. She was happy just being beautiful and watching everything going on around her.

But once Darcy stepped outside, she came alive! She loved doing her zoomies around the trees, and her brother Clyde could never catch her. Darcy had the most beautiful, athletic build, with long legs and such an elegant figure. Even when she walked, she pranced. Everything about her was elegant, and she knew she was a beautiful girl! She loved agility, learning tricks, and anything that challenged her mind. You could almost see the wheels turning in her head as she processed information. Jumping was her absolute favorite trick, which earned her the nickname “Circus Dog.”

Darcy also loved adventure, especially car rides. She knew that getting in the car meant she was going somewhere, and she was always happy to see where the day would take her. Whether exploring somewhere new or enjoying a familiar outing, Darcy loved the experiences that came with being out in the world.

And Darcy was a girly girl! She loved being beautiful, and she knew she looked especially pretty after a fresh bath. She carried herself with such elegance and seemed to know just how lovely she was. Of course, that didn’t stop her from wallowing in the grass afterward! She loved giving kisses, having her tummy rubbed, and enjoying cuddle time. She wasn’t particularly fond of walks. In fact, her mommy wasn’t quite sure Darcy ever understood the purpose of them. And her sweet little button nose was simply the best to kiss.

Darcy also had a protective side. She knew how to be a guard dog when she needed to be, keeping a watchful eye on the neighbors and making sure everyone knew she was there. She especially loved chasing squirrels, although her mommy didn’t allow too much of that.

One of the greatest loves of Darcy’s life was her brother, Clyde Barnabas. Clyde was her first love, her best friend, and her favorite companion. Truth be told, she probably loved Clyde even more than her mommy! The two shared a beautiful bond, and whether they were playing, running, or simply spending time together, Darcy loved being by his side.

As Darcy grew older, something beautiful began to happen. The little girl who had once been so uncertain of people and the world around her was slowly finding her confidence. She was becoming braver, more comfortable, and more willing to experience new things. She was still cautious, and she always did things in her own time, but that was Darcy. She taught her mommy that patience matters, that everyone grows at their own pace, and that sometimes you just have to trust that, in the end, everything will work out.

Darcy Jones leaves behind a legacy of pure, gentle, and honest love. She was truly a gift from God, and through her life, she taught her mommy how to move through this world in a kinder, gentler, and more patient way. She reminded her that being beautiful is wonderful, but being brilliant is even better.

They say God takes the good ones, and Darcy was certainly one of the good ones. A sweet, innocent little soul who had so much love to give and so much goodness within her.

Darcy Jones, my sweet, sweet baby girl. You had such big brains. You were so, so smart, and you were becoming so brave. I am so proud of the little girl you became. Thank you for everything you taught me and for all the love you gave.

I will see you again.
