Douglas Hapeman

Douglas, Dougie, my sweet boy and sidekick for so many years. I adopted Douglas when I was just 19 years old, he was a baby and I was still so young myself. He quickly became my number one and best friend. He was there for me when it felt like I had no one else. He kept me going through so much and was more than just a cat.

He loved to eat, he loved treats and would drink your drink if you weren't watching. He could reach his paw into a treat bag and eat it like he was a little person. I loved the way he would run to me to sit and cuddle. I was his person and he was mine.

He was the sweetest boy from the day we adopted him until the day he crossed the rainbow bridge. We know he is safe with Jesus now and has been reunited with our sweet Coop, his old pal. That has brought us some peace. We love him so much and he will forever be in our hearts!
