Lil Bit Brackett

Lil Bit joined our family in October 2011. She was discovered as a feral kitten in our backyard while walking our two dogs, Jordan and Spot. She was in need of medical care and a dear friend of the family Cindy B helped us get her healthy. Since we already had two dogs in our home, we were planning to foster her till we got her healthy enough to find a loving home. Cindy told Beth that if she could get Fred to name the kitten, he would bond with the kitten and would get to keep her. He was holding her, she barely covered his palm when he said “she is just a lil bit of a thing”. Cindy was correct. Over the next 14 years, Lil Bit became the Princess of our household and brought us so much joy. She leaves behind a legacy of making our home a cat sanctuary for many other feral kittens. Bella, Roxie, Winnie and Ralph will miss their feline sister. She passed peacefully in her sleep, lying beside our bed. She will be greatly missed.
