Ripley 2/28/2015 - 7/20/2026

Never just a pet, Ripley was a family member from the day he came home at 8 weeks old. To know him was to love him, and to be loved BY him. If there was a body of water nearby, a mound of sand, or a snow pile, you can bet that boy would find it. He loved swimming and playing in the snow, but more than that, he loved his people. He loved to travel everywhere we did and come on all of our adventures with us. He moved with us from Buffalo, NY to North Carolina. He was with us through new apartments, new cars, our first house, and our engagement. He became a therapy dog and sat at the library for kids to practice their reading skills on him. He was The Best Man & Dog of Honor in our wedding. He was right by our sides during our infertility battle, and eventually became the best big brother to his little human sister. He loved her so much and was so gentle and patient with her always. Just like he was with everyone. Plus, he taught us so much about how to be parents. We will forever have a hole in our hearts without him, but we know he’s up there rolling around on a beach somewhere with a nose full of sand, jumping in and out of the ocean water. Our lives will never be the same without you, buddy. We know you’ll keep a close eye on your little sis. Until we meet again ❤️ we love you and we’ll never ever forget you, Ripley.
