In Loving Memory of ZeroMay 13, 2013 – June 21, 2026Zero, a giant, beautiful, and unforgettable brindle Brazilian Mastiff and Grey Wolf mix, passed away on June 21, 2026, at the age of 13.I brought Zero home on July 1, 2013, when he was just 7 weeks old. Over the next 13 years, I was blessed to share every chapter of his life with him. He grew from a tiny puppy into a towering, fiercely loyal protector who would have given his life for me without hesitation. Our home felt different when Zero was in it; he had a presence that made everything feel safer, grounded, and complete.Zero was a dog of immense character. He was stubborn, strong-willed, and full of attitude, and he certainly wasn't always easy, but he was my "Zero baby", and I loved him unconditionally for every bit of his big personality. He was a creature of habit who lived for the simple joys: the thrill of a car ride, the absolute necessity of a Starbucks "pup cup," and a surprising, gentle affection for his feline family members.Though his absence leaves a void that feels impossible to fill, there is great comfort in knowing he is finally at peace and has been reunited with his best friend, Miss Kitty, the cat he grew up with who passed in 2021. They are together again, and for that, my heart is a little lighter.Zero is survived by his loving humans, Nicole and Nick; and his two cat friends, Mattie and Tex. He was a "once-in-a-lifetime" dog, and he will be missed every single day.Rest easy, Zero. Until next life.
